OperatorWay.com collects limited data about how visitors use the site. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are. We’ve written this to be readable, not to obscure anything.

What We Collect

We do not run user accounts, contact forms that store data, or any system that collects your name, email, or personal details. The exception is if you choose to contact us directly or subscribe to our newsletter.

What we do collect automatically, through the tools described below:

  • Referring website (how you found us)
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Country and approximate region (not precise location)
  • Interactions with content (scrolls, clicks, outbound links)

This data is aggregated and anonymized. It helps us understand what content is useful and how the site performs.

Google Analytics 4

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand visitor behavior. GA4 collects the data listed above and sends it to Google’s servers in the United States.

We have configured GA4 with the following privacy settings:

  • IP anonymization enabled
  • Data retention set to 14 months
  • No advertising features enabled

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

This site uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser that helps websites remember preferences and track usage.

We use the following categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary: Required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled and do not require consent.

Analytics: Used by Google Analytics to track visitor behavior as described above. These are activated only after you provide consent via our cookie banner.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie preferences link in the footer of this site, or by adjusting your browser settings.

Mediavine Programmatic Advertising

This section will be updated when display advertising is activated on this site. At that time, we will include the full Mediavine privacy disclosure as required by their publisher agreement.

Affiliate Links

Some articles on this site contain affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not cost you anything additional.

Affiliate links use tracking cookies from the respective programs. These cookies are set by the affiliate networks, not by us directly. For details on how each program handles data, refer to their individual privacy policies.

We maintain a full Affiliate Disclosure page with details on which programs we participate in.

  • Data retention for subscriber lists

We will not add anyone to a mailing list without explicit opt-in consent.
